What can I say? Jackie Chan is my hero. Not only does he do all of his own stunts, climbs up ten feet high walls in under two seconds, but he is just an excellent actor. Portraying the role of Inspector Lee from Hong Kong, he is brought to America to find his friend's daughter, and his best pupil, who was kidnapped and is being held for ransom. Detective Carter ( Chris Tucker) of the LAPD was brought in by the FBI to essentially keep Chan out of the way, while the FBI "do their job." While together, Carter realizes that Chan is the ultimate match for himself. When he turns his head for a few seconds, Chan is already making a getaway three blocks away. They finally realize that together, their chances of retrieving the girl are in their favor. The worst part is whenever they have a thought or know something, the FBI agents don't listen, and the circumstance blows up in their face. After much contemplating, they decide the heck with the feds.

An action packed thriller where Jackie Chan is already kicking butt in less than three minutes into the movie. No slow beginning for this show. 'Rush Hour' may not be the funniest movie I have seen Jackie Chan in, but definitely one of the good ones. So if you are asking yourself, "Should I pay to go see this movie?" My answer is yes.
